Granny Smith apples, sliced and peeled

light brown sugar, packed and divided

cornbread mix

quick cooking oats

margarine, cubed
Preheat oven to 350. Prepare a 11"x7" casserole dish with cooking spray; set aside. In a mixing bowl, combine apples and half cup brown sugar. Spread into prepared dish; set aside. In a shallow bowl, combine cornbread mix, quick oats, cinnamon, and apple pie spice, and remaining brown sugar. Mix well. Cut in margarine with a pastry blender until crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over top apples in dish. Bake for 30 minutes, or until bubbly.
