canned dark red kidney beans, drained

frozen corn, thawed

chicken breast cubes, cooked
In a large saucepan, combine tomatoes, salsa, chicken broth, barley, water, and chili powder. Over high heat, bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer 40 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add beans, corn, and chicken cubes. Mix well. Increase heat ot high until chili comes to a boil. Cover and reduce heat to low again. Smmer another five minutes, or until barley is tender.
