margarine, softened

sliced almonds, toasted

Baker's white chocolate baking squares, melted
Preheat oven to 350. Prepare a baking sheet with cooking spray; set aside. In mixing bowl, combine margarine sugar, eggs, and almond extract. Mix until smooth. In a smaller bowl, combine flour, almonds, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt; set aside. Divide dough in half. Shape each into a 11" x 2" log on a lightly floured surface. Bake 30 minutes or until lightly browned. Reduce heat to 325. Remove to wire rack and cool then minutes. Transfer to a cutting board; cut diagonally with sharp knife into half inch slices. Place cut side down on baking sheet. Bake for nine minutes more, or until firm. Once slices have cooled, dip each into melted chocolate. Chill until firm.
