canned Italian style tomatoes, undrained

no-salt-added tomato paste

Add onions, bell peppers, and garlic to a large glass bowl. Microwave on high for two minutes. Add crumbled chicken to dish. Microwave again, on high for five minutes, or until chicken is no longer pink; stirring after three minutes. Mix well. Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, and salt. Microwave on high for five minutes, or until mixture begins to bubble. To simmer, microwave on power level four, 15 minutes; stirring every five minutes. Remove from microwave. Serve over cooked pasta.
