crushed pineapple, reserve syrup

lime gelatin powder

water, boiling

fat-free cottage cheese

Cool Whip Free, thawed

miniature marshmallows

walnuts, chopped
Dissolve gelatin powder in boiling water. Stir in reserved pineapple syrup. Refrigerate until slightly thickened, 1 1/4 hours. Fold in pineapple, cottage cheese, whipped topping, marshmallows, and walnuts. Mix well. Pour into a 13"x 9" pan or 3-quart mold. Chill three hours, or until firm. Slice or unmold to serve.
