whole wheat bread slices, stale

garlic powder, * see note
Spread one tablespoon fat-free spread over each slice of bread. Cut bread slices into cubes. Then, sprinkle with garlic powder. Spread cubes in a single layer on a baking sheet. Preheat oven to 350. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve over top your favorite soup or salad.
