onions, cut into wedges

beef broth

In a 5-quart slow cooker, combine stew meat, potatoes, carrots, onion wedges, beef broth, tomato sauce, salt, pizza seasoning, and black pepper. Mix well. Cover and cook on low for eight hours, or until vegetables and beef are cooked through.
