quick cooking oats

boiling water

unbleached flour

granulated sugar

cocoa powder, sifted

baking soda

margarine, softened

pure vanilla extract

powdered sugar, sifted
Preheat oven to 350. Prepared a 13"x9" pan with cooking spray; set aside. In a small bowl, combine oats and water; set aside. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir in margarine, oat mixture, vanilla extract, and eggs. Mix well. Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 40 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Once squares are cooled, sprinkle with sifted powdered sugar.
