butter, softened

light brown sugar, packed

molasses

eggs

fat-free milk

3 1/2 cups
unbleached flour

pecans, chopped

ginger

1 1/2 tsps
cinnamon

baking soda

cloves
Preheat oven to 375. In a mixing bowl, combine butter and brown sugar. Mix until combined. Add molasses, eggs, and milk. Mix well; set aside. In another mixing bowl, combine flour, pecans, ginger, cinnamon, baking soda, and cloves. Mix well. Add mixture to wet ingredients. Mix until all is moistened. Shape dough into round balls. Place on unprepared baking sheets. Bake for 12 minutes, or until lightly browned on bottom.
