strawberry gelatin powder

boiling water

almond extract

lady fingers, cut in half cross wise

Cool Whip Free, thawed
In a mixing bowl, dissolve gelatin powder into boiling water. Add cold water and almond extract. Pour 3/4 cup into a 9" pie pan. Chill until sightly thickened. Insert lady fingers around edges of pan. Chill until set, but not firm. Chill remaining gelatin until very thick; then whip until fluffy. Pour over gelatin in pan. Chill entire pie until firm. Spread whipping topping evenly over top.
