barley

In a skillet, cook chicken and onions until chicken is no longer pink. In a 5 - quart slow cooker, combine cooked chicken, tomatoes, chicken broth, water, frozen mixed vegetables, barley, salt, cajun seasoning, and black pepper. Mix well. Cover and cook on high for four hours, or until vegetables and barley are cooked.
