canned pinto beans, drained and rinsed
In a large skillet, cook chicken and onions until chicken is no longer pink. Transfer chicken mixture to a 3-1/2 slow cooker. Add salsa, tomato sauce, chilies, chili powder and beans. Mix well. Cover and cook on low for eight hours.
