In a large skillet, cook chicken and onions until chicken is no longer pink. Place in a 3 - quart slow cooker. Add tomatoes, water, and taco seasoning mix. Mix well and cook on low for three hours or until heated through. Uncover slow cooker and add cream cheese. Mix until well blended. Serve over cooked bow tie pasta.
