margarine, softened

powdered sugar, sifted

walnut extract

pure vanilla extract

walnuts

toasted and coarsely ground

powdered sugar, sifted
Preheat oven to 350. In a mixing bowl, combine margarine, half cup sugar, extracts, flour, and salt. Mix until soft dough forms. Fold in walnuts. Shape dough into balls. Place 2" apart onto unprepared baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes, or until bottoms are lightly browned. Roll warm cookies in remaining powdered sugar. Transfer cookies onto wax paper. Cool completely. Roll cookies into powdered sugar again.
