unbleached flour

baking powder

cinnamon

nutmeg

ginger

cloves

1 cup
apples, shredded

1 1/3 cups
fat-free milk

1/4 cup
egg whites, slightly beaten

light sour cream

granulated sugar
Prepare skillet with cooking spray and heat on medium heat until hot. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves. In another mixing bowl, combine apples, milk, egg whites, sour cream, and sugar. Mix dry ingredients with wet ingredients just until moistened. Ladle in the batter, using two or more tablespoons per cake. Cook for two minutes, then flip carefully and cook for two minutes more.
