Baked Three Cheese Spaghetti

Adapted from Hot Recipes in Cool Dishes

  • 1 cup onions, chopped
  • 24 ozs low-fat spaghetti sauce
  • 1/2 tsp pizza seasoning
  • Casserole:
  • 16 ozs thin spaghetti, cooked and drained
  • 15 ozs fat-free cottage cheese
  • 1/3 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cup fat-free milk
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 4 ozs mozzarella cheese, shredded
Baked Three Cheese Spaghetti
Preheat oven to 350. Prepare a 9" x 13" pan with cooking spray; set aside. In a mixing bowl, combine cooked spaghetti, cottage cheese, milk, and salt. Mix well. Spread into prepared pan; set aside. In a large saucepan, cook onions until tender. Stir in spaghetti sauce and parmesan cheese. Mix well. Pour evenly over the spaghetti in the pan. Sprinkle top evenly with mozzarella cheese. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Uncover and bake for 15 minutes longer, or until bubbly.
