cocoa powder, sifted

margarine, softened

granulated sugar

semisweet chocolate chips, melted and cooled

peppermint extract

semisweet chocolate chips

white chocolate chips, melted

3 ozs
peppermint candies, crushed
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt; set aside. In another mixing bowl, combine margarine, sugar and eggs. Mix until smooth. Stir in melted chocolate and peppermint extract. Mix until blended. Add flour mixture and chocolate chips. Mix until all is moistened. Chill dough until easy to handle. Preheat oven to 350. Make dough into 1" balls. Place on prepared baking sheets and bake for 11 minutes. Let cool. Meanwhile melt white chocolate chips until smooth. Dip the top of each cookie into melted chocolate then into crushed peppermint candy.
