In a 3-quart saucepan, melt five cups marshmallows, corn syrup, margarine, and chocolate chips over low heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla extract. Pour over cereal in mixing bowl. Mix quickly until completely coated with chocolate mixture. Stir in remaining marshmallows. Press mixture evenly in prepared 13 "x 9" pan with back of spoon. Let stand at at one hour, or refrigerate if a firmer bar is desired. Cut into two inch squares.
