Italian white bread, cut into 1" slices

light brown sugar, packed

margarine

fat-free milk

pure vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 375. In a glass measure, combine brown sugar and margarine. Microwave until melted and smooth. Pour evenly onto bottom of a jelly roll pan; set aside. In a shallow bowl, combine milk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix well. Dip each bread slice into egg mixture on both sides. Place on top of brown sugar mixture in pan. Bake for 30 minutes, or until browned.
