Place turkey into a food processor and process until turkey is shredded. In a large skillet, cook turkey and onions until turkey is cooked through. Place mixture into a 3 1/2 - quart slow cooker. Stir in tomato sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, worcestershire sauce, ground mustard, chili powder, and salt. Mix well. Cover and cook on low for two hours or until heated through. Place 1/4 cup turkey mixture onto each bun bottom.
