Salmon Burgers

Adapted from Bumble Bee Seafood, Inc.

  • 14 3/4 ozs canned salmon, drained and flaked
  • 1/4 c egg whites, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 c onions, chopped
  • 1/2 c bell peppers, chopped
  • 1/2 c whole wheat crackers, crushed
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 5 whole wheat hamburger buns
In a mixing bowl, combine salmon, egg whites, onions, bell peppers, crushed crackers, and black pepper. Mix well and refrigerate mixture for half an hour, or until set. Form into five four ounce patties. Prepare a skillet with cooking spray and fry patties on both sides until lightly browned.
