Santa Fe Chili

Adapted from Favorite Brand Name Hamburger Recipes

  • 1 1/2 lbs ground chicken breast
  • 1 cup onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic, minced
  • 4 ozs canned green chiles, undrained and diced
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 15 ozs vegetarian chili with beans
  • 14 1/2 ozs Mexican style stewed tomatoes, undrained
Santa Fe Chili
In a large saucepan, cook chicken, onions, garlic, and chilies, until chicken is no longer pink. Stir in chili powder, salt, red pepper, chili with beans, and tomatoes. Reduce heat to medium. Cover and simmer for ten minutes, stirring occasionally.
