canned diced tomatoes with green chilies, undrained

canned dark red kidney beans, rinsed and drained

In a large skillet cook onions until tender. In a 5 1/2 quart slow cooker, combine beef pieces, onions, vegetables, tomatoes, kidney beans, chili seasoning, salt, and water. Mix well. Cover and cook on low for seven hours, or until vegetables are cooked.
