Spaghetti Pie

Adapted from Mr. Food Cooks Pasta

  • 10 ozs angel hair spaghetti, cooked and drained
  • 2 whole eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 c parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 c fat-free cottage cheese
  • 12 ozs low-fat spaghetti sauce
  • 4 ozs mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 tbsps parmesan cheese
Preheat the oven to 350. Prepare a 13 "x 9" pan with cooking spray; set aside. In a mixing bowl, combine hot spaghetti, eggs, half cup parmesan cheese, and salt. Mix well. Pour mixture onto bottom of prepared pan. Spread cottage cheese evenly over spaghetti mixture. Top with spaghetti sauce. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and remaining parmesan cheese. Bake, uncovered, for 25 minutes, or until cheese has melted. Cool for ten minutes before cutting into wedges.
