bran flakes cereal

unbleached flour

granulated sugar

egg whites, slightly beaten
Preheat oven to 350. Prepare a 8"x8" square pan with cooking spray; set aside. To prepare topping, combine two ounces bran flakes cereal, brown sugar, one teaspoon cinnamon and margarine in a small bowl. Mix until crumbly; set aside. In a mixing bowl, combine remaining cereal, flour, sugar, baking powder, remaining cinnamon, and salt. Mix well. Add milk, oil, and egg whites. Mix until all is moistened. Pour batter evenly into prepared pan. Sprinkle with reserved topping mixture. Bake for 30 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
